Preamble

Hi everybody – in lieu of a meme or a funny story, we would like to begin this listserve with a statement about the tragedy that happened in Quebec City on Sunday. The HSA condemns this act of violent terrorism and stands in solidarity with our fellow Muslim Canadians and their families. We love you, and we are here to support you.

In total, more than 15 events, including workshops, public talks and artistic presentations, will take place between January and May at COHDS. Facilitated by affiliates, staff, visiting researchers and invited guests, these events will cover a wide range of topics and approaches to the discipline of oral history. All events are free, but online registration is strongly advised, as seats are limited.
